An Entrepreneur I’ve Learned From : Tim Ferriss

Tim is an inspiring entrepreneur and best-selling author, also as he likes to dub himself, a “human guniea pig”! He wrote the popular book called “The 4-Hour Workweek” about how to unchain yourself from office work by starting a side hussle and using simple tools to manage it remotely. Next, he started to train himself to eat healthy and stay fit. His next book was called “The 4-Hour Body” which teaches you how to spend only four hours a week to maintain your body. He also travelled the world and learned a lot of languages, cultures, extreme sports, martial arts, and many interesting […]

Planning: how I handle stress & pressure

The way to handle stress and pressure is all about planning! You have to have a very good planning practice, such as planning things in advance to make sure that they don’t stress you out and place unnecessary pressure on you. Let’s say that you have a big task that you need to do, there are a few things that you should:  Split it into small parts Make a list of all the parts to make sure you get them all done Have a clear deadline for each part Have all the resources you might need Some advice I would […]

Books you should add to your reading list for 2021

Reading is quite a worthwhile activity as it helps to develop our thoughts, gives us endless knowledge and lessons while keeping our minds active — a good engagement and workout for the brain! And there’s really no excuse not do it with several formats making books more easily accessible including eBooks & audiobooks. It is important to focus on books that are beneficial to you, books that give you points that you can implement right away to achieve improvement and personal growth. I have a few recommendations for books that I believe everybody should have in their reading especially if […]

My travel blog — where will I visit next?

With the new year approaching and vaccines getting around, let’s hope we can leave the pandemic behind as we enter 2021! Hopefully soon we’ll be able to travel again and get back to exploring the world safely as countries will gradually start to reopen their borders.  Being a travel blogger and seeing as I have visited over 85 countries, I am always thinking of new places to discover. I have some new countries on my list to visit (whenever they become safe and available) including South Africa, Russia, Kazakhstan, and several destinations in the region of Central America as well. […]

My process for coaching & mentoring entrepreneurs

There is a large number of aspiring entrepreneurs around the world who are eager to build new companies, solve problems and improve things around them. Most of them want to jump straight into success and create business to get customers. However, they would need to be more patient as these things don’t have overnight! There are a few steps that they would have to take first such as: Build a really good team that are experts in the industry market and specialized in a wide range of different fields such as finance, marketing, human resources etc.  Test the market opportunity […]

How I “reprogrammed” my taste for sugars

A lot of people struggle with giving up sugar, as most people have a big craving for it and are used to the way it tastes in drinks, desserts and such; the so-called “sweet tooth”! Gradually over the span of the last ten years or so, I completely almost cut it out of my diet. I started by psychologically manipulating myself into hating it and slowly cutting it out of the things I eat and drink, such as tea, coffee etc.  In the beginning, I used to drink tea with sugar but I gradually started using less and less sugar. […]

Hotel Loyalty Programs – How I Benefit from them

A big number of people are missing out on the Hotel Loyalty Programs, as they use third-party websites (booking.com, hotelscombined, trivago etc) to make their hotel reservations.    Over my extensive global travels I have found that the best way to book is to use the hotel or airline’s direct website rather than any aggregator sites, and make use of their loyalty and rewards programs. This is certainly more beneficial over the long run. In the past, I myself was using sites such as Booking.com, Expedia, Priceline and the like who offer you short-term gains in the form in the form […]

Exercises that I currently focus on

Generally, I prefer to exercise my entire body rather than just one area. I don’t fall into the trap of exclusively focusing on visible muscles, as one has to focus on their whole body and have a good balance.  Lately I took a break from working on the larger muscle groups and started focusing more on my core section, or the abdominal area, commonly known as abs and obliques.  There are 4 separate muscles that contribute to your overall abdominal development. Each of them has a different, yet important role to play. They are: ▶️ Transverse Abdominis – this is […]

What I’m currently learning at Stanford

I am currently pursuing an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate with Stanford University. It is an online program that is accessible at any time, and there’s a wide range of course topics to choose any 8 you prefer. I personally found this program to be very useful; as it opened my mind to a lot of ideas about innovation strategies and entrepreneurship, and how to manage them. Being at the heart of Silicon Valley, Stanford has lots of alumni who have become top entrepreneurs and industry experts in the area and come back to be guest speakers in these course, sharing their […]
